They say the first time is always magical. Taken during our honeymoon, we were excited to see Atlantic Puffins (our first time) - we confirmed nesting seasons, made a detour, taking a car ferry from Stykkishólmur and drove to Látrabjarg, the western-most point in Iceland. And boy, what a view - hundreds of puffins in the skies, bringing food back for their pufflings, seemingly unaffected by humans a few metres away. A snap at just the right time, with a ray of sun on a cloudy day makes this one of my favorite pieces.
