Growing up in Singapore, living in public housing / apartments was a common occurrence, with neighborhoods littered with HDB flats (as we call it), each new one taller than before in this land scarce city. On a visit to Hong Kong, a visit to Choi Hung felt familiar - towering buildings and local amenities (playgrounds and basketball courts), with a lovely facade of color along with palm trees!
